Ha! Who knew!

I have said before that the outrageous data rates on mobile phones are holding back adoption of the technology in Australia, and still believe that it is true. Gizmodo posted on the results of a survey which apparently confirms it.

Salesforce pains, Google Joy

Today was a long slow day at work. We have a backlog of leads to convert to contacts (we’re using Salesforce.com), and have been manually processing them each day. Salesforce is an excellent CRM tool. The only other one that I’ve had any significant contact with is ACT, which I thought was pretty good - until I started using Salesforce.

Knowledge Sharing (or “Stop Emailing Me”)

When I started working at my current job, I noticed that there was an issue with how information was being shared. Our office is really open - it’s basically one room, with no separation between anyone. If you spin on your chair, you can see everyone (and they can see you!).
