Backend Redirect

This is a very simple plugin I just produced for wordpress. It restricts access to the WordPress admin screens to Admin users only. This is useful if you do not want subscribers (or any other user defined roles) accessing the backend at all.

In the future, I may add support for custom redirects per role, if users need the functionality.

It is now available from WordPress.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments.

This website uses IntenseDebate comments, but they are not currently loaded because either your browser doesn't support JavaScript, or they didn't load fast enough.

Hi GeLza, at the moment the plugin is so basic that it doesn’t require a settings screen. Maybe if I add more features, it will need one.

Hi Roland, I’ll look into this tomorrow. There are a few improvements in the next version, it is almost a full rewrite.
