Tasted: Mountain Goat IPA

The other night we headed off to a wine bar after work. Naturally, I enquired about which beers were available. The waiter started with Coopers Sparkling (I’m a pretty big fan), and mentioned a few more quality beers before coming this one. I was in the mood for something new, so tried this.

Brewed: English India Pale Ale (IPA)

I brewed an IPA today. I was aiming for an English style, however I think it could end up being too high in alcohol content. If it gets to a final gravity of 1.016, it will be 7.5% ABV!

The brewing process

The brewing process has 8 main steps.

Clean everything – Probably the most important step. Any little bug that gets into a brew can turn it into a gusher. Also, it’s far nicer drinking a beer that you know was brewed in sanitary equipment.
